These heels are meant for Santa and Mrs. Claus…

These heals are meant for Santa and Mrs. Claus delivering at least 1,500 Bears and other furry critters to patients at a local hospital on Christmas morning which has been our tradition for over 20 years now.

It is a time to give with no expectation of receiving and to give thanks for all we have.  As for me,.I’m appreciative for the opportunities to work with and for clients who have taught me priceless lessons in exchange for giving them the best consulting options I could extend to them in return.  I’m hopeful that as we put 2010 behind us, we will all move forward with a feeling of gratitude for everyone we meet and interact with, not taking anything or anyone for granted.

While decorating the trees and making homemade ornaments, I am reminded of the words of my mom’s favorite Christmas song.  Let these visions create the spirit of the season within you.

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose,

Yuletide carols being sung by a choir and folks dressed up like Eskimos,

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe help to make the season bright.

Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa’s on his way.  He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.

And ev’ry mothers child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so, I’m offering this simple phrase to kids from one to ninety-two …

Altho’ it’s been said many times many ways: “Merry Christmas to you”
