If there is a worst of politics, this story has to be the best.

cowboy

The Governor of Wyoming signed legislation adopting principles of “cowboy ethics” as part of Wyoming law. The code carries no criminal penalties and is not meant to replace any civil codes. The code admonishes residents to live courageously, take pride in work, finish what they start, do what’s necessary, be tough but fair, keep promises, ride for the brand, talk less and say more, remember that some things aren’t for sale, and know where to draw the line.

Wow! What an incredible message. It seems to me that every individual, company, organization, association, and family could take heed and follow suit. THIS is a piece of legislation that could make a better community, state, nation and world.

Perhaps it starts with each one of us. What do YOU think?
